A truly special art deco era Burma ruby ring. This ring features a spectacular 2.69ct unheated Burma ruby (certified) surrounded by 0.80cts of transitional cut diamonds, set in platinum. It is elegant, and has a smooth, low profile so although it is large it is suitable for regular wear. The ruby is an oval of deep pink / red and is traditionally millegrain set. The reverse of the ring is also extremely beautifully crafted, with a hand pierced gallery in delightful shapes. The band is simple, with reeded detailing. The ring has fabulous coverage on the finger and is a real statement. It is in excellent condition and would be a fabulous engagement ring.
