An Edwardian, 15ct buttery yellow gold bangle. The gold is smooth and rich and the front is set with 3 large cabochon garnets that have old mine cut diamond flowers embedded within. There is intricate gold granular detailing around the garnets. The bangle is inscribed with a dedication; ‘M.A. M Lear, 14.12.1919, from Tho. Ogilvie’.
MATERIALS: 15ct gold. X3 cabochon garnets and x8 old mine cut diamonds, total ping approximately 0.21cts.
DIMENSIONS: The central cabochon measures 15mm diameter, and the side garnets are 8,.7mm diameter. The Height of the bangle is 2.4cm tall at the widest point. The bangle is 5.5cm wide. Weight: 26.4g.
ERA / HALLMARKS: Inscribed 1919 but due to the style and materials it was possibly made earlier, c. 1870.
