Items are usually dispatched within 2 -3 working days. (As we're a team of 2, please note that occasionally things can take a bit longer to dispatch - if that happens we will get in touch to let you know).

We send pieces on a tracked and insured service, with DHL Express or Fedex Malca, and we will send you a tracking link once it has been dispatched.

Although we can't be held responsible for delays, we will try and assist you with liaising with the courier if there are any problems.


In many countries, antique items (classed as over 100 years old) are exempt from duty, and we will send a certificate of antiquity with items where appropriate to facilitate this. However, please check the customs and import duties and regulations for your country before you buy. We are not responsible for any delays in shipping due to customs, or for any additional local taxes or fees. In accordance with the law and our insurance policies, we always declare the correct value amount to the relevant customs organisations.


Items over 100 years old are exempt from tax and duty. If the item you have purchased is less than 100 years of age you will be subject to taxes and duties in the USA , and the courier will contact you directly to pay these with US customs. If your item is over $2500 in value you may also be contacted by US customs to provide more information about yourself before they release the item. 


GST and duty is due on all imports to Australia. Please check taxes and duty rates locally. 



Due to Brexit, rules around imports to Europe from the UK have changed, and you may have VAT to pay. If the item is over 100 years old there is usually a reduced fee between 7 - 15%, but please check locally. 



We gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations on items in their original condition:

Contact us within: 14 days of delivery

Send items back within: 21 days of delivery

Request a cancellation within:  2 days of purchase 

Due to the nature of these items, unless they arrive with you damaged or defective, I can not accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalised orders (i.e. items that have been converted or made for you, or re-sized) 

  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

  • Certifications

If you are in the UK we will send you a returns label to return your item free of charge.

International buyers are responsible for return postage costs and for the item's safe return.
If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value, and a refund may be refused.
As appropriate, a refund will be made once the item is received and has been seen to be in its original condition.
