This 3.50ct old mine cut diamond and platinum ring would make a classic engagement ring. The stone is an old cushion cut, which means it was cut by hand by an expert craftsman at some point in the 19th century - early 20th century. It has beautiful chunky facets and although it has some colour it more than makes up for this with it’s dimensions, sparkle and character. It is simply set in platinum band, with elegant triple claw settings, to set the large stone off to it's best advantage. It bares French import marks, which means it would have been brought into France, likely to retail in Paris. This would be a unique and characterful engagement ring. It has been lab certified - see attached images.
