An Edwardian era ‘toi et moi’ ring featuring a unseated Burma ruby and an old mine cut diamond. Traditionally a ‘toi et moi’ ring is a romantic symbol of love; the ruby is for passion and the diamond represents loyalty and longevity. The ruby is certified as a Burma no heat ruby - making it a rare and desirable stone. The stones are in platinum rub- over settings, and it has split, diamond encrusted, shoulders.
