This antique topaz ring dates to c. 1830, putting it in the Georgian era. It features a golden yellow, 1.75ct, imperial Topaz stone, surrounded by old mine cut diamonds in a traditional cluster style. Imperial topaz is famed and desired for it’s rich golden hues, and is said to have been favoured by the Tsar’s of Russia, hence the ‘imperial title’. The shank is a later addition, but in keeping with the original character
