An incredibly well preserved Georgian emerald and diamond ring. The emerald is set in 18ct gold in an open backed claw setting. It is surrounded by foil backed, old mine cut diamonds and it hugs and curves around the finger. The shoulders of the gold band are splayed like the foliate on a flower. The emerald is an oval and as some inclusions as you’d expect - see images. Minor An incredibly beautiful piece of historic jewellery.
