This is a wonderful Victorian Ruby and Diamond horse shoe ring which has been converted from a stick pin. Horseshoes were a popular motifs in the 1800's, denoting luck and happiness for the wearer and were often gifted to sweethearts or before a wedding. This is an English Victorian piece - it features a total of 0.50ct of old cut diamonds in a lucky horseshoe shape over a love heart of calibre rubies on a contemporary 18ct yellow gold simple band.

DIMENSIONS: USA size: 6 / UK size L 1/2. The horseshoe is 12mm x 12mm.
ERA / HALLMARKS: This has been converted from a Victorian stick pin so there are no hallmarks, but gold is verified as 18ct.
