This is a dainty and pretty antique Burmese ruby ring, with rich pink / red stones. The 3 rubies are accented by small rose cut diamonds (both in cut down settings) and gold filigree work, with a closed back. The ring is crafted in 15ct gold with foliate detailing down the shoulders. It has been subject to some historic repair work on the shank, but which is not visible on the outside of the ring.

DIMENSIONS: UK: I, USA: 4.5. Weight: 1.9g. The centre ruby is 4mm x 3.7mm. The side rubies are approx. 3.7mm x 3mm. The head of the ring is 6.7mm at it's tallest point.
ERA / HALLMARKS: Dates to the mid - late 1800's. Hallmarks do not remain due to shank repairs / replacement
CONDITION: The head of the ring, and stones, are in good condition. The shank has had some repair work at some point, and has had some gold added to the inside. See images.
