The unearthing of Etruscan tombs and their treasures in the early 1800's created a wave of popularity of Etruscan style jewellery in Victorian England. This is a particularly beautiful example of the style, featuring ornate granulated gold work, rose cut diamonds and a cabochon garnet decorated with a gold star.
